Amanda obtained her Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies with a Specialization in Finance and Administration from the University of Western Ontario. She started her career at Deloitte LLP in Toronto, Ontario but shortly afterwards moved to Edmonton to begin her role at Rutwind Brar LLP in 2013. She has obtained her CPA, CA, as well as completed the CPA 3-year In-depth Tax Course.
She is very involved in her community and extends her career expertise to helping others. Since 2011, she has volunteered with the CPA Tax Clinics, completing tax returns for low-income families during March and April. She also volunteers with the Junior Achievement Company Venture Program where she helps mentor high school students to create and run a student-company over an 18-week program each year. Furthermore, she is a member of several Board of Directors in the community and a member of the Summerside Business Network.
In her spare time, she can usually be found cheering on her favourite sports teams, at the dog park, or travelling the world.
